Soy candles have only made it into Australia about 1 and half years ago. The soy candle represents a profound change in thinking for Australians.

The soy candle is not only environmentally friendly but is one of the very few candles which is also natural. We pride ourselves on only having one (and only one) line of sight which is the soya bean plant. Unlike the paraffin candle which is derived from the oil fields and the petrochemical industry.

Alphacandles takes pride in supplying the Central Coast and the rest of Australia with natural, cool burning candles.

As you can appreciate, the hotter the wax is the more likely you will cause harm to yourself or others. Our candles burn at 30-40 degrees, compared to paraffin which burns at 80 degrees. However with the soy candle the low burn point and the fact that there are no chemicals involved make this one of Australia's cleanest burning candles.

Soy candles last approximately 25-50% longer than their paraffin counterparts, of the same size, and the scent throw will rival anything in the market as we are able to triple scent the candles we produce due to the lack of chemicals.
